The article presents the results of an empirical study examining the relationship between professional burnout and procedural resilience among police officers. The study involved 127 officers of the National Police of Ukraine aged 20 to 44 with varying lengths of service and combat experience. Data were collected using the Professional Burnout Questionnaire (O. Chaban et al.) and the Connor–Davidson Resilience Scale adapted by Ye. Hryshyn. Analysis of variance revealed that higher levels of burnout were associated with lower scores on most indicators of procedural resilience, including challenge orientation, self- control, stress tolerance, self-determination, social connectedness, openness to experience, and constructive coping. It was found that years of service and combat experience act as buffering factors, partially mitigating the negative effects of burnout on the regulatory, motivational, and social components of resilience. The findings confirm that professional burnout is a significant risk factor for the decline of procedural resilience in police officers. Enhancing self-regulatory, cognitive, and motivational resources is therefore a key direction in psychological support and prevention of emotional exhaustion in the law enforcement profession. The practical significance of the results lies in the potential to develop psychoprophylactic and psychocorrectional programs aimed at strengthening procedural resilience among police officers. From the standpoint of cognitive- behavioral therapy, such programs should focus on developing self-regulation skills, reframing maladaptive beliefs, fostering cognitive flexibility, mastering stress management techniques, and promoting constructive coping with professional challenges.
