THEORETICAL MODEL OF POLICE OFFICERS’ MULTICOMPONENT PSYCHOLOGICAL READINESS FOR EXTREME SERVICE CONDITIONS

The article presents a theoretical analysis of the psychological factors underlying police officers’ readiness for extreme service conditions in the contemporary security, crisis, and wartime context. The relevance of the study is обусловлена the increasing intensity of occupational demands, the elevated level of occupational risk, and the need to make decisions under conditions of uncertainty, time pressure, and high responsibility, which highlights the need for a conceptual clarification of psychological readiness as an integrative resource of effective law enforcement activity. The aim of the article is to theoretically substantiate a structural-component model of police officers’ psychological readiness for extreme service conditions. As a result, the author proposes a model in which police officers’ psychological readiness for extreme service conditions is conceptualized as an integrative dynamic construct formed under the influence of extreme professional factors and realized through the interaction of three interrelated components: motivationalvalue, professional-operational, and volitional-regulatory. It is shown that the integration of these components ensures the officer’s ability to perform functionally effective, psychologically regulated, and normatively balanced professional activity under conditions of risk and threat. The study theoretically identifies the main groups of psychological factors of readiness, including individual-psychological, motivational-semantic, professional-functional, socio-psychological, organizational, and moral-ethical factors. The practical significance of the article lies in the possibility of using the proposed model as a conceptual framework for psychodiagnostics, profile-oriented training, and psychological support of police officers in extreme service conditions
