The article presents the results of a comprehensive study of psycho-emotional indicators of maladaptation risk among military personnel performing combat tasks in the area of force deployment and substantiates their potential use as a basis for modeling a system of early psychological intervention. The relevance of the study is determined by the increasing psycho-emotional burden under conditions of prolonged combat stress and the necessity to shift from a reactive to a preventive model of psychological support. The aim of the study is to identify the structural organization and prognostic significance of psycho-emotional indicators in military personnel and, on this basis, to develop a structural and functional model of an early psychological intervention system. The study involved 41 servicemen. A комплекс of theoretical, psychodiagnostic, and statistical methods was employed. The State Anxiety Scale by C. Spielberger (STAI), the Express Maladaptation Questionnaire (O. Prykhodko), a primary PTSD screening instrument, and a military service stressor assessment tool were used. Statistical processing included descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, and mediation analysis. The results demonstrated a systemic pattern of interrelations among anxiety levels, posttraumatic symptoms, and maladaptive manifestations. Multiple regression analysis identified posttraumatic symptoms as a key predictor of maladaptation (p < 0.001). Mediation analysis confirmed a full indirect model, according to which the effect of combat-related stressors on maladaptation is mediated through the formation of posttraumatic symptoms. Based on the obtained findings, a multi-level model of an early psychological intervention system is proposed, aimed at the timely identification and stabilization of posttraumatic manifestations at the preclinical stage. It has been established that posttraumatic responding serves as the central mechanism in the transformation of combat stress into maladaptive states, thereby substantiating the priority of preventive psychological monitoring within the system of maintaining the mental health of military personnel.
