COMMUNICATIVE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PROFESSIONAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL READINESS OF THE FUTURE LAWYER

Abstract

The relevance and expediency of our research is due to the level of urgency of the question of the structure and features of the manifestation of communicative characteristics of the professional and psychological readiness of a future lawyer in the process of preparation for full and fruitful professional functioning, especially in today’s special socio-economic and security and regulatory conditions. The professional readiness of a future lawyer assumes the presence of legally regulated grounds and formal mechanisms for its regulation, a high level of awareness by the future lawyer of the place and role of legal institutions in the functioning of the state and an individual citizen, developed internal motivation for legal activity, multi-level and structured processes of communication and interaction with the professional and social environment. The psychological content of the social and communicative characteristics of the professional and psychological readiness of a future lawyer is based mainly on the acceptance and understanding of the individuality of others, the ability to effectively overcome communication barriers, the skills of flexible and relaxed establishment of productive professionally oriented contact with others, the ability to control one’s own negative emotions, and regulate the course of interaction with professional partners. A positive attitude towards the profession of a future lawyer does not primarily imply rejection or misunderstanding of the individuality of another person, categoricalness and conservatism in assessing people. Professionally motivated future lawyers are not characterized by the inability to forgive another for his mistakes, clumsiness, intolerance to the physical or mental discomfort of a partner, inability to adapt to a professional partner, the desire to adjust the partner to oneself, to make him comfortable, the desire to remake, re-educate the partner, etc.
