Mental health is an integral part of a person’s overall health and plays a crucial role in their psychological well-being and ability to adapt to various social contexts. It defines not only an individual’s emotional resilience but also their capacity to interact effectively with their environment, overcome stress, and navigate challenges that arise in everyday life. The issue of mental health in Ukraine has long remained on the periphery of public attention due to numerous social barriers, cultural factors, and insufficient access to qualified psychological help. The stigma surrounding individuals with mental disorders, their social isolation, and stereotypes regarding treatment have been major obstacles to improving the situation. However, the situation in Ukraine has started to change due to the active efforts of professionals, public organizations, and support from government institutions. This includes not only an increase in funding and resources for mental health but also a significant role in raising public awareness through social campaigns, media, and psychological education. One of the key aspects of these changes is the formation of a new mental health culture in society, which promotes overcoming the stigma associated with mental disorders and changing the overall perception of mental health issues. This transformation of social views involves not only a shift in attitudes toward the treatment and support of people with mental disorders but also ensuring their proper conditions for social integration and active participation in society. Continuing these processes is an important step toward creating a society where everyone has equal opportunities to maintain their mental health and development.
